Our Productions

At King Academy we believe in giving everybody the chance to perform.

One of the highlights of our year is our commitment to the performing arts, where students/people of all ages have the opportunity to shine on stage and build confidence, creativity and teamwork.

Each year, our academy proudly presents three major performance events that bring our community together and showcase the incredible talent of people around Leicester.

Our Student Musical
Designed especially for our students aged from 4-18, this spring production offers them the chance to take centre stage and experience the excitement of live performance. From colourful costumes to catchy tunes, our student musical is always a crowd favourite and a wonderful introduction to theatre for our budding performers.

Our Production Musical

This is the newest growth of King Academy this year. Including a full-scale theatrical experience, with an external production team involving our students, but also adults and seniors. With professional-level sets, lighting, choreography and direction, this event allows everyone to stretch their artistic abilities and work collaboratively to bring a beloved story to life.

The Christmas Showcase!
A festive celebration held every December, this heartwarming event features performances from students across all of our groups. With songs, monologues, dances, poems and routines, the showcase is a joyful reminder of the season's spirit and the creative energy of our academy.

Through these annual productions, King Academy fosters a love of the arts and gives every student the chance to be seen, heard & celebrated.
